Matt Holt, Paul King and their bankers for Tottenham v Chelsea

Harry Kane - Tottenham

Just as you thought the feast of football was over, another Premier League humdinger looms up and smacks you right between the eyes. And we know two men who can’t wait to get stuck into Tottenham v Chelsea.

Their top of the table clash headlines this evening and once again tipping heroes Matt Holt and Paul King are going in search of punting glory.

Will we witness another over-hyped washout? Or can the talent on show produce some magic?

The good folk at Ladbrokes have priced up specials for every eventuality.

And this is where MH and PK are putting their hard-earned cash….

Under 2.5 Goals, Under 12 Corners and Under 5 Cards – 11/4

Based on the way these massively hyped midweek games have gone so far this season, I think this is a sensible bet – especially considering their last Premier League meeting at White Hart Lane finished 0-0.

‘Mersey Monday’, ‘Red Monday’, the Manchester Derby in the League Cup, the North London Derby and Klopp v Guardiola all proved to be major disappointments and at 11/4 it’s worth taking a chance on this one following suit.

The aforementioned games all would have landed this bet; with an average of 1 goal, 7.6 corners and 3.6 cards.

English Players to outscore Non-English Players – 10/3

This one caught my eye for a few reasons and if you fancy Spurs to win, you should definitely take note of this one.

Nine of Spurs’ last ten goals have been scored by Englishmen; Harry Kane’s got three, Dele Alli’s got five and even Danny Rose has chipped in with one.

If you fancy a Spurs win, it’s definitely worth taking this at 10/3 rather than the win at 17/10 in my opinion.

Over 1.5 goals, 4 or more corners for each team and 2 or more cards for each team – 7/2

I’m just going to say straight off the bat that I think this one is an absolute banker tonight.

In Chelsea and Spurs we have two teams with a stunning amount of quality in attacking positions, and all of their key players in those areas are in top form.

With the likes of Diego Costa, Harry Kane, Eden Hazard, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen on show, there should be a lot of chances created and shots, which should ultimately lead to a decent number of corners (if not goals).

As for the cards, this fixture historically receives an average of 3.96 cards per game.

That’s an average which I expect them to maintain tonight, in a season filled with questionable refereeing decisions. Each team to receive two cautions doesn’t seem at all unlikely in my opinion.

Harry Kane and Diego Costa both to score and either side to win the match – 6/1

Like I said previously, both of these teams boast unbelievably gifted attacking players who are currently in top form. That can be said for none more so than Harry Kane and Diego Costa.

Kane has eight goals in nine Premier League games since returning from injury while Costa, the league’s top scorer, has a whopping 14 goals in 18 appearances so far this season.

I wouldn’t bet against either marksman finding the net tonight, and I’m more than willing to stick my neck out and say the match won’t end in a draw in order to give the price a nice little boost.

Five of the last seven meetings between these London rivals have ended with a victory for either side and with Chelsea set to beat the record for consecutive league wins they certainly have the motivation to go all guns blazing tonight.
