Liverpool now 6/4 not to win a trophy and finish outside of top 4

Struggling Liverpool are now just 6/4 to not win a trophy this season AND finish outside of the Premier League’s top four.

The Reds have now suffered two cup exits in a matter of days following their shock defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round.

And having won just one of their last eight games in all competitions since the start of 2017 the pressure is starting to mount on Anfield gaffer, Jurgen Klopp.

The German’s long honeymoon period appears to be over and we’re offering 20/1 for him to leave the dugout before the end of the 2016-17 season.

That might seem fanciful but with games against Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal on the horizon those odds well collapse should Klopp fail to address his side’s current slide.

Wolves 50/1 for Emirates FA Cup glory

Wolves were as big as 12/1 pre-match to secure a memorable cup win on Merseyside. And the Old Gold are now 50/1 to go all the way and lift the trophy with 20/1 on offer for the Black Country outfit to reach the final.

One Wolves fan will also have even more reason to cheer after landing a £2,340 payout after correctly predicting the 2-1 scoreline at odds of 25/1.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “We didn’t have to wait long for some cup magic and Wolves shrugged off being one of the biggest outsiders of the day to land a long odds shock. The result adds to Klopp’s January woes and the odds of Liverpool coming up short this season are now considerably shorter.”
