Labour Government 20/1 to impose a UK salary cap
The latest odds suggest a Labour government is unlikely to introduce a cap on salaries anytime soon.
Following party leader Jeremy Corbyn’s latest suggestion of a maximum earnings limit, the bookies have reacted accordingly.
The latest odds rate it an outside chance at 20/1 that a Labour government brings a cap into play before the end of 2025.
However, at just 3/1 it’s much more likely there will be a cut to the Prime Minister’s annual salary before the decade is over.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “Corbyn’s latest claims are nothing new, but at present it’s hard to see a Labour government getting into power, let alone capping earnings.”
