La La Land heavily fancied to win big at this year’s Oscars

La La Land is tipped to add several Oscars to its bulging awards collection, according to the latest odds. 

The film is the long odds-on favourite at 1/5 to take home the gong for Best Picture at next month’s ceremony, which leaves Damien Chazelle as the overwhelming front runner to land the Best Director award at 1/7.

Emma Stone (5/6) narrowly leads the way in the Best Actress market ahead of Natalie Portman (13/8) and Isabelle Huppert (4/1).

Unfortunately, Ryan Gosling (4/1) looks set to miss out on completing the quadruple success as Casey Affleck is fancied at 1/4 for Best Actor.

Success for Brits in LA is looking unlikely with both Dev Patel (12/1) and Naomie Harris (14/1) amongst the outsiders in their respective Best Supporting categories.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “The Oscar nominations are as expected, which has only further helped La La Land’s odds head further south into even clearer favouritism.”
