The remarkable rise of horse racing trainer Colin Tizzard continues to provide plenty of column inches. And as such our traders have been busy pricing up a range of possibilities for the year ahead.

With an enviable array of talent at his disposal the Dorset-based handler certainly has the ammo to go on and achieve some remarkable feats in 2017.

We’ll start with arguably his two biggest names. It’s 5/1 for Tizzard to train the Cheltenham Gold Cup first and second this spring and that looks great value considering his options.

King George VI Chase winner and emerging superstar Thistlecrack could well be joined by the likes of Cue Card and Native River in the upcoming renewal, with those three horses currently heading-up the antepost market.

That supremacy is further highlighted by the 8/13 on offer for Tizzard to train the Gold Cup winner while it’s 4/1 he’s crowned the 2016/17 Jumps Top Trainer.

However, with Cue Card potentially heading down a different path, the 8/1 for the man of the moment to train the Gold Cup and Ryanair Chase winners also appeals.

Elsewhere, it’s 10/1 for Tizzard to train the Scottish Grand National winner and 14/1 for him to saddle the English equivalent at Aintree.

With so many fantastic horses in his yard, now is the time to back their trainer for some monumental successes this spring.
