2017 Novelty Specials: Kim and Kanye 5/1 for shock divorce

We could write a pretty weighty book about some of the shocks we’ve seen this year in the world of TV, politics and sport. And in anticipation of more potential betting surprises for 2017. we’ve prepared a handful of specials.

It’s not been the best of years for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, with latest reports suggesting that the couple are in counselling after a trying year. Yep, you have one meeting with Donald Trump, and suddenly you need help. Sounds about right, Kanye!

With their marriage reportedly on the rocks, traders make it a 5/1 shot for Kim and Kanye to go their separate ways next year.

But it’s not all doom and gloom when it comes to famous names and love.

In fact, we could be set for another Royal Wedding in 2017, with 5/2 on offer for Prince Harry to tie the knot.

Seemingly smitten with his latest girlfriend, Meghan Markle, the odds suggest our traders reckon this could be the one for Harry.

Aww.

That’s enough romance for Ladbrokes News.

Moving on to Reality TV…

She’s collaborated with John Legend (kind of, he just awkwardly sat in a room while she rapped at him), she’s grabbed her crotch more times than we even care to remember, and she finished fifth on this year’s X Factor.

But it doesn’t stop there for Honey G. She’s already set to travel the country with seven other X Factor contestants for the show’s Live Tour in the coming months, and our traders make her a 10/1 shot to win Celebrity Big Brother.

Though it’s unlikely the Harrow-born rapper will be entering the house next month, given her commitments elsewhere, there’s every chance she could make an appearance when the second batch of celebs enter Big Brother’s famous four walls in the summer.

And while we’re on the subject of X Factor, it’s just 5/1 for the 13-year-old singing competition not to be screened in 2017, as viewing figures continue to fall.

A bit odd, considering auditions are already being advertised. But never mind, hopefuls, there’s always The Voice.
