West Brom, Sunderland, Burnley and Everton all chasing PSV’s assist-king

PSV’s wantaway winger Luciano Narsingh is set to be the centre of a four-way Premier League January scramble.

Everton, West Brom, Burnley and Sunderland are all reportedly seeking the 26-year-old’s services, and it’s highly like Narsingh will move next month.

The Dutchman’s PSV contract expires in the summer, and the Eredivisie giants face losing him for nothing in six months time.

The winger himself has suggested he is ready to take on the challenge of the Premier League, and given the list of clubs waiting to sign him, PSV can expect to receive plenty more than the £4m Narsingh is currently valued at by the clever bods at transfermarkt.co.uk.

The Dutch international came through the youth system at Heerenveen, whose alumni includes Ruud van Nistelrooy, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and Paul Bosvelt.

Narsingh spent four years with the Friesland club, and it was his stunning performances in his final campaign – 2011-12 – which saw PSV come calling.

The winger scored eight goals in addition to a staggering 22 assists, as his side finished an impressive fourth in that season’s Eredivisie.

PSV shelled out £4m for his services four years ago, and since then the Amsterdam native has produced 29 goals and 32 assists, claiming two Eredivisie titles along the way.

So it should come as no surprise then, that the Premier League quartet courting his services are all lacking in the creative department.

A bidding war looks likely, with Narsingh and PSV seemingly resigned to parting ways next month.

But for whoever does win this battle, they could find themselves bagging one of the best signings of the transfer window.
