Ladbrokes are refunding all White Christmas bets after another year swings by without a blanket of snow.
As the nation woke up to another festive season without a dusting of the white stuff, the bookies have decided to refund all wagers placed on a White Christmas.
And the firm will also pay out to punters who were dreaming of it being the warmest ever December 25 on record, leaving everyone quids in bar the bookies.
The mercury soared to 15c this year, putting some parts of the UK on a par with climates in Madrid and Athens.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “White Christmas punters were never given a proper run for their money this year.
“We’re feeling festive and a little merry from all the sherry, and have decided to refund all wagers as well as paying out on it being the warmest ever December 25th.”
