Punters reckon Swansea boss will be next manager to leave his post

Swansea City - Liberty Stadium

It’s fair to say there were plenty of eyebrows raised back in October when Swansea City announced that Bob Bradley would be taking over as manager.

But it looks as though his time with the Welsh outfit is set to be cut short, as he’s now favourite once again for the chop.

With just two wins from nine Premier League games to speak of, Bradley is doing little to answer his critics, and defeat away at West Brom put the Swans three points off safety.

It’s no surprise to see him head the market at 6/4 to be the next manager to face the sack, especially when you consider that 32.3 per cent of all stakes in this market have been places on the American – excluding a crazy flurry on Chelsea boss Antonio Conte back in mid-October.

Bradley is now heading into five games that will almost certainly decide his fate.

Having faced the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Everton, Manchester United and Arsenal since arriving at the Liberty, he’s been gifted a run of fixtures which some might argue are all winnable.

Of course, we’re not expecting the Swans to pick up maximum points from their next quartet of fixtures, but fans will definitely want at least seven points.

That’s because he’s up against Middlesbrough, West Ham, Bournemouth and Crystal Palace. Between them, those five sides have won just six of their last 24 games combined – with the Cherries boasting 50 per cent of those victories.

The last of those four matches is at Selhurst Park on January 3. Failure to win any would surely all but call an end to the 58-year-old’s time in South Wales.

What do fans think? Can you see any other manager leaving their post before Bradley? And is he the right man for the job?
