Punters keeping a close eye on Strictly hopeful Louise Redknapp

Hollyoaks hunk Danny Mac has enjoyed a near faultless run in this year’s edition of Strictly Come Dancing but he’ll have to keep on his toes to fend off his closest rival.

That’s the opinion of punters at least with Louise Redknapp this week’a best backed contestant.

Long-term favourite Danny is still 8/11 to claim the Glitterball trophy.

But at 2/1, savvy Strictly fans are snapping up the value and making Louise their best bet.

At the other end of the market it appears time could be up for 33/1 outsider Judge Rinder with Craig Revel-Horwood’s colourful sparring partner just 1/4 to get the boot in Musicals Week!

His Samba will have to be something pretty special if he’s to make the semi-finals.

But whatever the TV star manages to pull out of the bag it’s likely the play second fiddle to the ongoing tussle for the trophy between Danny and Louise.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “The clear verdict in Strictly is that we will wave goodbye to Judge Rinder this weekend. As for the winner, Danny is still in the lead but a foot-perfect dance from Louise could see her close the gap.”
