ICYMI: Cathro grabs first win as Hearts demolish Kilmarnock

Ian Cathro notched up his first win as Hearts head coach as the Edinburgh side comfortably saw off Kilmarnock.

The Jam Tarts ran out 4-0 winners at Tynecastle with star man Callum Paterson volleying them in front after just eight minutes.

Arnaud Djoum extended the hosts’ advantage before half-time while a Jamie Walker double after the break added further gloss to the scoreline. Dario Zanatta missed a late penalty for the home side but it mattered little on a day when Cathro’s outfit showed their class.

Hearts are three points off Aberdeen in third with Lee Clark’s Killie in eighth position in the Ladbrokes Premiership table.
