Europa League favourites Manchester United set to face St Etienne

Jose Mourinho and Manchester United will face French outfit St Etienne in the Europa League Round of 32, while Tottenham are set to meet Belgium club Gent.

The Round of 32 draw also means Paul Pogba will come up against his elder brother Florentin, who plays for the Ligue 1 side.

Mourinho’s outfit are the 4/1 favourites to win this season’s Europa League with Spurs next best at 8/1.

And with St Etienne only eighth in the French top tier, and Gent fifth in Belgium, both Premier League outfits should be confident of progression.

It’s a particularly favourable draw for the Old Trafford club, who have lost once in 15 meetings with French opposition, while Zlatan Ibrahimovic has scored 14 times in 13 games against St Etienne.

Elsewhere, 11/1 third favourites Roma will take on Villarreal in one of the other headline clashes, with Borussia Monchengladbach v Fiorentina another fixture to look out for.

Meanwhile Gladbach’s domestic rivals Schalke face a tricky clash with Greek outfit PAOK.

Sparta Prague and Hapoel Be’er Sheva, who ensured Southampton exited the tournament in the group stages, will play Rostov and Besiktas respectively.
