Bournemouth v Liverpool: Expect Reds to win comfortably

Philippe Coutinho-less Liverpool eventually got the job done against Sunderland last Saturday and they even managed to see off Leeds in midweek without the Brazilian.

And expect that trend to continue with Jurgen Klopp’s collective more than capable of putting Bournemouth to the sword this Sunday.

The Cherries have never beaten the visitors in any competition (D2, L7) and have lost all eight Premier League matches they’ve played on a Sunday.

A 2-1 defeat to their upcoming opponents is included in that sequence but given Liverpool’s attacking prowess we think the margin of victory can be even bigger this time round.

The Reds are the division’s highest scorers with 32 goals and the 15/8 about Liverpool -1 certainly appeals.

By contrast, Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth outfit have mustered just three goals in their last five Premier League outings with a couple of blanks during this period.

The Dorset club are yet to score more than a single goal in a game against Liverpool so the 9/4 for the visitors to win to nil is another bet to consider alongside the 21/10 for Klopp’s side to win and both teams to score.

In the absence of Coutinho, Divock Origi has forced himself into the manager’s plans and duly delivered with the winner against the Black Cats and the opener in his team’s recent EFL Cup victory.

The Belgian is 19/10 to score in a Liverpool win with teammate Roberto Firmino 4/1 to score first at the Vitality Stadium.
