Tottenham short odds to bring Real Madrid ace to north London

Great news could be just around the corner for Tottenham fans, with Mauricio Pochettino’s men just 7/2 to snap up Real Madrid’s midfield maestro Isco by the end of next Summer’s transfer window.

The 24-year-old has been in sparkling form for Los Blancos so far this season, netting twice in his last five games – helping Zinedine Zidane’s men to victory in every one.

However, he’s impressed throughout the 11-game unbeaten run they’ve managed in La Liga during this campaign, with the Spanish giants currently top of the table, and the only unbeaten side in the division.

With an 89 per cent pass completion rate so far this year, his passing ability is arguably unmatched by any midfielder in Europe – while a 60 per cent shot accuracy record also makes the former Malaga man a valuable addition in the goalscoring charts.

But, it’s his record of assists which make the Lilywhites’ target most appealing. He’s already set up three goals this season, in addition to an impressive haul of 12 last time out – including a hat-trick of them in the 8-0 hammering of Malmo.

And we could soon see those stats repeated at White Hart Lane, with 11/4 for Spurs to be Isco’s next club, while it’s 6/1 he joins in January and 7/2 he rocks up there by next Summer.

That’s enough to get Tottenham hearts fluttering, but for Pochettino’s current squad, the main focus will be on Saturday’s home game against West Ham.

It’s 1/2 they beat the Hammers, with 20/1 for a repeat of the 4-1 drubbing they gave the Irons during the last meeting at the Lane.
