Nigel Farage favourite to be the next UKIP leader

Published:

Nigel Farage is once again the favourite to be the next UKIP leader, according to the latest odds.

Paul Nuttall was appointed as the party’s new leader today, but the bookies make Farage just 3/1 to replace him as and when the next leadership contest takes place, with party donor Arron Banks also in the running at 4/1.

Suzanne Evans is 10/1 to succeed in the next contest, with John Rees-Evans the rank outsider at 100/1.

Meanwhile, UKIP are 33/1 to win the most seats at the next General Election.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “We don’t know when the next UKIP leadership contest will be, so it makes sense to keep Farage’s odds to a minimum.”

Neil Hamilton is a 50/1 shot, with Boris Johnson at 100/1.
