Market says Ryan will battle it out with Honey G for X Factor exit

Just six acts remain in this year’s X Factor, and they’ll be cut to five tonight as one more hopeful faces the boot, with three more weeks to go until the final. And our traders reckon this’ll be the end of the road for Ryan Lawrie, with the Scot clear favourite at 2/5 to exit the competition.

And our latest odds suggest he could be up against one of Sharon Osbourne’s acts in the Sing Off, with Honey G priced at 6/4 to find herself in the Bottom Two and Saara Alto at 7/4 to find herself in yet another Sing Off.

But, perhaps more surprisingly, 5 After Midnight are just 13/8 to finish in the Bottom Two, although it’s unlikely the 6/1 second-favourites for the X Factor crown will be heading home tonight.

Two other acts that needn’t worry about their safety are Matt Terry and Emily Middlemas.

Both were back with a bang last night, after a shaky week last time out, and 20/1 says the latter makes a shock exit while it’s 50/1 for Matt’s time on the show comes to an end.

So far we’ve seen just two of the previous six eliminations go to Deadlock, but given that we’re approaching the business end of the competition, the judges may well find it difficult to split whoever finds themselves in the Bottom Two.

And that means there could be some value in the 10/11 for tonight’s elimination to ultimately be decided by the public, where we’d assume Ryan will finally receive his marching orders.

In terms of betting for the winner, it’s no surprise that 23-year-old Matt is still leading the way. But behind him, it’s wide open, with Emily and 5 After Midnight both being price up at 6/1, while Honey G are Saara are both now 10s.

That leaves Ryan way back at 100/1 to cause what would now be the biggest betting upset in X Factor betting history at this point.
