Man City 2/1 to reunite ex-Barcelona duo by signing Arsenal star

Arsenal fans should look away now, because Ladbrokes make it just 2/1 for star striker Alexis Sanchez to leave north London and reunite with Pep Guardiola at Manchester City.
The Citizens’ boss signed the Chilean from Udinese back in 2011, and his faith was repaid with 17 goals from the classy forward, as Barca racked up an impressive 91 points in La Liga and lifted the Copa del Rey.
He’s continued to impress since moving to Arsenal in 2014, but with the Gunners having finished 10 or more points off top-spot in the last two seasons, re-uniting with Guardiola at a City side packed with talent could be too tough to resist.
And with the Topocolla native’s contract talks stalling, it’s 2/1 for him to join City by next summer, and 12/1 to swap the Emirates for the Etihad as early as January – while 7/4 says he heads there anytime.
Their fierce rivals Manchester United are second-favourites of the Premier League pack, with 10/1 for a repeat of the move made by Robin van Persie back in 2012, while Antonio Conte is 12s to tempt the striker to Chelsea.
Elsewhere, Juventus are 5/2 to be Sanchez’s next employers, with a return to Camp Nou priced at 9s.
A Ladbrokes spokesperson said: “Man City could be set to boost their title hopes and weaken Arsenal’s with a swoop for Sanchez, meaning the relations between the clubs could become very Chile indeed.”
Next up for Guardiola’s men is a trip to Crystal Palace, with the visitors 1/2 to chalk up a fourth successive win over the Eagles.
