Jack Wilshere 5/2 to stick around at Bournemouth with permanent deal

Published:

Jack Wilshere is just 5/2 to make his Bournemouth loan deal permanent, according to the latest odds.

The Arsenal midfielder has enjoyed a renaissance at Dean Court this season, and the bookies make it shorter than 3/1 the move sticks next summer.

It’s 10/1 meanwhile that the England international likes it so much on the south coast that a permanent switch comes in January.

The Cherries are favourites to be Wilshere’s next permanent club at 7/4, with West Ham next in the betting at 9/2.

Fellow south coast side Southampton are an 8/1 shot to secure Wilshere’s services, with Crystal Palace and Everton deemed unlikely destinations at 10s apiece.

A Ladbrokes spokesperson said: “Bournemouth are bringing out the best in Jack Wilshere, and it’s increasingly likely the midfielder permanently ditches the bright lights of the capital for the south coast and some sea air.”

Wilshere has featured in each of  Bournemouth’s last seven Premier League games, thrusting himself back into the England squad as a result.

Following the international break, the midfielder will have his latest chance to impress for the Cherries when they head to Stoke.

Eddie Howe’s men are 7/4 for victory in Staffordshire.
