Is this RB Leipzig punter sitting on a Bundesliga goldmine?

If you weren’t already, it’s time to start taking Bundesliga upstarts RB Leipzig very seriously. Not that one punter needs reminding, with their pre-season bet looking pretty sweet right now.

Back in July, our crystal ball-gazing customer placed a £20 bet at odds of 500/1 on the newly-promoted outfit going on to secure the top-flight title.

And now that Die Bullen sit at the summit after beating Bayer Leverkusen on Friday night it’s hard not to get caught up in the momentum that’s gathering.

Granted, the corporate entity that is RB Leipzig winning the Bundesliga may not be met with the same affection as last season’s stunning Premier League triumph by Leicester City.

However, from a punting perspective this would be a story to rival one of betting’s biggest ever shocks.

And with unbeaten Leipzig now three points clear following eight wins and three draws it’s time to start believing that the impossible can happen (again).

Perhaps the biggest question now is: should our prophetic punter cashout for £580 or let the bet ride in the hope of scooping £10k?
