NAP – Baden – 14:40 Cheltenham

The market is sweet on Nicky Henderson’s Baden and so are we ahead of this latest attempt to get off the mark under Rules.

An improving third at Punchestown on his last outing signalled that there’s definitely some potential waiting to be unleashed.

And with the weight he’s receiving from some of the previous winners we reckon this will be the day that Baden finally beats them all into submission.

NB – Barters Hill– 14:05 Cheltenham

Ben Pauling’s Barters Hill is the class act in this field and we’re backing him to make a positive start over fences.

Granted, there’s a few others with more experience in tackling the larger obstacles with Its’afreebee and Rock the Kasbah the principal dangers.

However, it’s easy to forgive the selection his fourth in the Albert Bartlett back in March and put your faith in his natural ability.

Lively Longshot – De Faoithesdream – 13:30 Cheltenham

Evan Williams’ charge De Faoithesdream rates as an interesting outsider in this handicap. The 10-year-old may be getting on a bit now but he retains plenty of ability.

His last outing at Ayr resulted in a Listed success and as a horse that tends to go well fresh we think he can outrun his odds and get in amongst it at Prestbury Park.
