Greg Rutherford 5/1 to waltz out of Strictly this week
Greg Rutherford is more likely to quit Strictly before the weekend than to win it outright, according to the latest odds.
With rumours circulating that the Olympian is having a meltdown following comments from the judges on Saturday, the bookies have slashed the odds to just 5/1 he quits the show before filming this weekend.
However it’s a much bigger price of 14/1 on offer for him to lift the Glitterball trophy this year.
Danny Mac’s (11/10) position at the top of the betting is coming under pressure by Ore Oduba who’s fancied at 11/4.
Meanwhile Daisy Lowe has joined Ed Balls at the back of the pack, with the rank outsiders 50/1 apiece for Strictly glory.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “It doesn’t bode well for Greg that punters are more interested in wagering cash on him to walk than winning Strictly.”
