Brendan Rodgers has been named the Ladbrokes Premiership Manager of the Month following his Celtic side’s fine run of results in October.

Rodgers guided the reigning champions to a faultless calendar month with four wins as many games and no goals conceded.

It all began with Scott Brown converting from close range to secure all three points away at Dundee on October 1.

A 2-0 home success over Motherwell followed before another crucial couple of victories on the road.

Ross County were hammered 4-0 in their own backyard before arguably the most impressive result of the lot at Pittodrie.

A Tom Rogic strike proved the difference against nearest rivals Aberdeen with the Bhoys rounding off October in fine style.

Next up is this Friday’s encounter with Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.

Celtic are just 1/6 to rack up another win with the hosts 16/1 and the draw priced up at 13/2.
