Sorry Bob but Swansea fans wanted Ryan to get the gig at the Liberty

Many people have debated whether or not Swansea City made the right call in choosing Bob Bradley over Ryan Giggs to replace Francesco Guidolin, and it seems the answer is the Welsh club have made a mistake.
That’s the view according to today’s @Ladbrokes Twitter poll, which asked our followers if Swansea were right to appoint Bradley over Giggs.
And a slight majority say the former Manchester United hero should have been given the job instead.
Some 52 per cent of you said Swansea made a bad call, with 48 per cent apparently happy with the Welsh club’s decision.
On paper at least Bradley certainly boasts the right credentials, bringing experience of five years as boss of the USA plus work in Norway, Egypt and France.
But Giggs brings Premier League nous, and the inner works of arguably the most successful club in the world over the past 25 years.
Look at it that way, and Swansea could be on to a winner whoever it was they went with.
But Huw Jenkins has gone for Bradley and it remains to be seen now if the 58-year-old can produce a turnaround in Swansea’s fortunes.
Since an opening day win away at Burnley, the Liberty Stadium outfit have picked up one point from six games, a run leading to Guidolin’s departure on Monday – it also happened to be the Italian’s birthday. Ouch.
After the international break, Bradley will get his first taste of Premier League football when his new side face the tricky prospect of a trip to Arsenal.
The bookies make Swansea 10/1 to give their new boss a dream debut, while relegation odds of 19/10 reflect the task at stake for Bradley.
