Falkirk boss Peter Houston has been named the Ladbrokes Championship Manager of the Month for September following his side’s stellar set of performances.
The Bairns came flying out of the blocks following the international break, securing an impressive 2-0 away win at Raith Rovers to begin a fine run of form.
Dundee United were next up and the hosts duly dispatched of the promotion favourites 3-1 at the Falkirk Community Stadium.
That victory was followed by a win against Ayr United and a draw against St Mirren that leaves Houston’s men in third place and just four points off the top of the table.
