Paul Pogba just 9/2 to quit Manchester United next summer

Paul Pogba could be set to leave Manchester United before the start of next season, according to the latest odds.

The world’s most expensive player has failed to set the world alight since rejoining the Red Devils and our traders are offering odds of just 9/2 for Pogba to leave Old Trafford next summer.

Another lacklustre performance in the 0-0 draw with Liverpool left boss Jose Mourinho saying he expects more from his midfield star.

A January exit isn’t being ruled out either, with 10s available on the 23-year-old departing the Theatre of Dreams early next year. It’s 11/4 meanwhile that Mourinho drops Pogba for this weekend’s Premier League clash with Chelsea.

Real Madrid lead the list of potential destinations at 7/4, with PSG and Barcelona deemed more likely than a return to Juventus at 7/2 and 9/2 respectively.

A sensational hop across town to the blue half of Manchester is 8/1, the same price as Bayern Munich and Juve.

A Ladbrokes spokesperson said: “Pogba’s return hasn’t lived up to expectations, and comments from Mourinho this week suggest the United boss may pull the plug early on the midfielder’s comeback.”

Pogba will be hoping for a better time of things this Thursday when the Reds take on Fenerbahce in the Europa League at Old Trafford with the hosts 1/2 for victory.
