In-form Everton full-back interesting Man United once again

Everton are enjoying life under new manager Ronald Koeman, in particular Seamus Coleman, who has arguably been the best performer of the Toffees’ impressive start.
The Irishman scored a wonderful goal against Middlesbrough, but has also made the second-most tackles and the joint-highest interceptions per game in the opening seven matches.
As a result of that form, the 27-year-old is once again attracting the attention of Manchester United, who are reportedly considering making a January bid for the defender.
This wouldn’t be the first time the Old Trafford giants have tried to lure Coleman away from Goodison Park, having attempted it when David Moyes was manager.
The Scot, of course, was well aware of Coleman’s talents, having signed the 40-cap Republic of Ireland international for the Toffees in 2009.
In the end Moyes didn’t get his man, but Jose Mourinho, who is now in charge of the Red Devils, may fancy his chances a bit better.
The Portuguese is currently using converted right-winger Antonio Valencia at full-back and seems uninterested in giving Matteo Darmian much game time, prompting rumours that he’ll bolster the position with new recruits this winter.
The Daily Mirror believe a £16m offer will be tabled in the January transfer window, which would make Everton a hefty profit on a player they signed for just £60,000 seven years ago.
United return from the international break with a clash against Liverpool and are 13/5 to beat their great rivals on Monday Night Football.
