Aberdeen kept up the pace at the top of the Ladbrokes Premiership with their 4-0 win over Kilmarnock on Saturday afternoon their 11th consecutive victory over the Ayrshire club.

An Adam Rooney brace and goals from Andrew Considine and Ash Taylor did the damage at Rugby Park and in turn put the Dons hot on the heels of Celtic heading into the international break.

Rooney put the visitors on the front foot after converting a controversially awarded penalty on 25 minutes before Considine and Taylor struck to effectively end the match as a contest.

The Dons’ hitman then wrapped up proceedings with a 72nd minute effort that squirmed under goalkeeper Killie goalkeeper, Jamie MacDonald.
