Chelsea boss spotted watching ousted international keeper in Italy

Joe Hart’s next move could fling him straight back into the Premier League title conversation, after Chelsea manager Antonio Conte was spotted in the stands watching the Manchester City exile’s latest match for Torino.

The English stopper found himself on loan with the Bulls after being cast aside by new Citizens boss Pep Guardiola.

Hart has since racked up two clean sheets in five Serie A outings in Turin and rumours of a swift return to his homeland began to fly once Conte was seen taking in the recent win over Fiorentina.

Current Chelsea number one, Thibaut Courtois, regularly flirts with the idea of returning to Spain, having spent three seasons on loan with Ateltico Madrid early on in his Blues career.

Should the Belgian get his wish, then Hart would seem like an immediate and experienced replacement.

The 64-cap international was in between the sticks in both the Citizens’ top-flight title-winning seasons to date and surely jump at the chance of adding to that pair of medals back on these shores.

Everton and Sunderland both registered an interest in the 29-year-old this summer when it became clear he’d be leaving the Etihad, although neither were seemingly able to compete with the benefits of a temporary switch abroad.

Now that a genuine title contender could be in the mix for the Shrewsbury hero’s signature though, Hart could be persuaded to make a permanent exit from the club he has made 266 Premier League appearances for.
