Unbeaten all season? Celtic backed in #WhatAreTheOdds request

Published:

If anyone is to launch a Ladbrokes Premiership challenge to Celtic this season, they’d better get on with it quickly, as our latest #WhatAreTheOdds request tips the Bhoys to go unbeaten, and it’s still only September!

Our latest custom odds bet is Celtic to go unbeaten in the 2016-17 Scottish Premiership at 12/1, and on their current form, it should be something seriously worth considering.

Since taking over in the summer from Ronny Deila, Brendan Rodgers has led the reigning Premiership champions to five wins and a draw  from their opening six league encounters, opening up a four-point lead with a game in hand still to come.

The former Liverpool boss has also taken the Hoops into the Champions League group stages, with a stunning 3-3 draw at home to Manchester City the highlight so far, while Barcelona are still to visit Parkhead.

It’s the manner of Celtic’s league conquests which will have rivals quivering however, and perhaps explains why we’ve had such a #WhatAreTheOdds request so early in the campaign.

Thanks to inspired summer signings such as Scott Sinclair and Moussa Dembele – plus defensive stalwart Kolo Toure – Celtic have fired in 23 league goals already this term – twice as many as any other side and three more than Hearts and Aberdeen combined.

The Bhoys knocked four past St Johnstone and the Dons, while they walloped five past Rangers to claim the Glasgow bragging rights.

And they only seem to be getting better as the season goes on, with Kilmarnock hit for six last time out.

All told, though it may be relatively early in the year, it’s looking like the Bhoys are set to dominate the campaign and it’s no wonder some are already backing the side to go unbeaten in the Ladbrokes Premiership.
