Lesley Joseph’s odds slashed for Strictly Come Dancing glory

Lesley Joseph is being backed to win Strictly Come Dancing like she’s going out of fashion and our traders are running scared. 

The Birds of a Feather star is clearly reaping the rewards of being partnered with the housewives’ favourite, Anton Du Beke.

Her odds of winning the show have crashed in half to 50/1 (from 100/1) following huge support in the last 24 hours.

Will Young remains at the head of the market as a 3/1 shot, followed by Claudia Fragapane (9/2) and Ore Oduba (6/1).

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “Lesley’s already benefiting from the Anton effect, and if punters continue to back her it won’t be long before her odds shorten once again. Support for the couple could see Anton make the final three for only the second time since Strictly’s launch in 2004.”
