GGG v Kell Brook – how is social media calling the big fight?
Published:We’re getting ever closer to one of the busiest sporting days of the year so far. Celtic and Rangers meet for their first league game in four years, while Manchester United welcome local rivals Manchester City to Old Trafford for the first Manchester derby of the season this Saturday.
However, those events will serve as mere appetisers for what’s to come because on Saturday evening the O2 Arena will play host to two of the biggest names in boxing, as Gennady Golovkin and Kell Brook go head-to-head.
Kazakhstan’s WBA Super, WBC and IBF world middleweight champion has been busy preparing for the fight in London, having arrived in the capital earlier this week.
And while it’s 1/6 for Triple G to retain his titles, the world of social media doesn’t think Golovkin will have things all his own way.
We thought we’d take a look at how Twitter is calling this one, and where better to start than with Brook’s promoter, Eddie Hearn?
This time next week ‘sweet caroline’ will be pumping @TheO2 & @GGGBoxing @SpecialKBrook will be walking to the ring with the World watching

Triple G seems to be excited by the prospect of fighting in the iconic venue…

Former WBO Jr Middleweight World Boxing champion Paul ‘Silky’ Jones seems to fancy Kell Brook for this one, and Special K is 4/1 to win on Saturday night.

Meanwhile, Gareth wasn’t prepared to pull any punches…
I really believe we will see the very best version of Kell Brook against GGG … but simply put, it wont be anywhere near enough #ko8
