Arsenal 3/1 to qualify for Champions League knockout stages unbeaten

Arsenal are 3/1 to go through their Champions League group stage unbeaten, according to Ladbrokes.

Pitched against Paris Saint-Germain, FC Basel and Bulgarian outfit Ludogorets , Arsene Wenger’s men get their toughest game out of the way early when they head to the French capital tomorrow night.

The Gunners are 10/3 to be the last English team standing in the competition, while Man City must deal with a fiendish group.

Drawn against his old club Barcelona, Celtic, and Borussia Monchengladbach Pep Guardiola is 6/1 to lead his Man City side to an unbeaten group campaign, starting at home to the Bundesliga outfit.

The Citizens are deemed England’s most likely hope of winning Europe’s top club competition however, with City’s 11/1 outright odds trumping Arsenal’s 25s, while Leicester and Tottenham are each out at 40s.

A Ladbrokes spokesperson said: “It’s almost time to settle in and enjoy that spine tingling music.”

“Arsenal may well go through their group unbeaten but the odds suggest it’s up to Man City to fly the flag for the British contingent”

Leicester and Tottenham are each 9/2 to go through their groups without defeat, but the bookies make Claudio Ranieri’s side 4/1 outsiders to be last English side standing.

Spurs’ adventure will see them head across the capital to play all their home games at Wembley, and we go 11/4 Mauricio Pochettino’s men find grab three wins from three at their new European home.

It’s evens that all English sides progress, while 20/1 says Celtic come through a tough Group C and make it five British teams in the knockout stage.
