Our top tips for the first La Liga weekend of the season

Luis Suarez odds, Liverpool Transfer Odds, Barcelona transfer odds, Coutinho transfer odds

While the Premier League took centre stage last weekend, this week sees the long-awaited return of La Liga, and in preparation for what we expect to be an action-packed weekend, we’ve picked out three of our best bets.

Malaga v Osasuna: Osasuna and Draw @ 5/4

It’s Malaga and Osasuna who kick off proceedings on Friday night as the away side make their return to the Spanish top-flight after two seasons away.

And Enrique Martin Monreal’s men will go into their opener confident that they can leave La Rosaleda Stadium with at least a point.

In fact, the last time Osasuna travelled to Malaga for a league match, they ran out 1-0 winners.

Luis Suarez to score a hat-trick v Real Betis @ 13-2

It says something about the task in front of Real Betis this weekend when Barcelona’s top scorer in the league last year is almost twice as likely to score a hat-trick than Betis striker Ruben Castro is to net the first goal.

The Uruguayan was in unstoppable form throughout the course of last campaign, scoring three or more in a game on no less than six occasions. He also grabbed three of Barca’s six goals against Los Verdiblancos last year and is clearly fancied by many to pick up where he left off last time out.

Real Madrid to beat Real Sociedad with a -2 handicap @ 5/1

Madrid’s record against Sociedad is simply frightening. Los Blancos have lost just once in their last 18 meetings with Txuriurdin, scoring a staggering 49 goals in the process.

And Zinedine Zidane will be expecting his players to keep up that good form when the two sides meet on Sunday evening, making the 5/1 for Madrid to with with a -2 handicap a price seriously worth considering.

Like the look of this treble? £5 would pay a massive £506.25.
