Leicester City are 8/1 to secure another Premier League title under Claudio Ranieri, following the Italian’s new contract announcement at the King Power Stadium this morning.
The reigning champions have tied down their beloved Italian boss for another four years, and the bookies make it odds-on at 4/5 Leicester and Ranieri will land any major trophy before the contract is up in 2020.
It’s 25/1 the partnership manages to bag the Champions League in the next four seasons, while any major silverware for the east Midlands club this year is deemed a 6/1 chance.
Meanwhile, such is the adoration for Ranieri in Leicester, the bookies make it 1/2 that the Roman is immortalized forever with a statue in the city.
A Ladbrokes News spokesperson said: “Foxes supporters will be jumping for joy at the news of four more years under the Iconic Italian.

Leicester, champions last season by a mammoth 10 points, open their title defence in Saturday’s lunch-time kick-off, when they head to Premier League returnees Hull.
With Ranieri signed until 2010, the champions are 21/10 to kick off their campaign with three points in Yorkshire this weekend.
