Joe Hart’s looming Man City exit tops today’s transfer odds

Published:

Joe Hart to quit Manchester City and join Everton this summer is the odds-on favourite in today’s Ladbrokes News transfer bulletin.

With Barcelona’s Claudio Bravo seemingly Man City-bound, Hart’s days looked more numbered than ever under Pep Guardiola, with his odds of a move to Goodison Park cut from 2/1 to just 8/11.

Second in our list today is Jose Fonte, who is 2/1 to leave Southampton for Manchester United this summer, as Jose Mourinho looks to beef up his defensive options.

The Red Devils are also 5/1 to land Brazilian protege Gabriel Barbosa from Santos, while Liverpool are 6s to sign Mahmoud Dahoud from Borussia Monchengladbach.

And the least likely move from today’s fivesome is Cesc Fabregas joining Real Madrid, with the bookies deeming it 12/1 the Chelsea man heads for the Spanish capital.

After being left out in favour of N’Golo Kante by new Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, Fabregas’ future at Stamford Bridge has been under renewed speculation.

A Ladbrokes spokesperson said: “Hart has been an integral part of Man City’s success over the years, but Pep knows what he wants at the Etihad, and the England goalkeeper isn’t it.”

Hart may not be the only big-name Citizen to leave this summer, with Yaya Toure, Eliaqium Mangala and Wilfried Bony all tipped to be ousted as Guardiola quickly settles in at Eastlands.
