Manchester City to beat Steaua Bucharest @ 9/20

We’re kicking off our acca with Pep’s men, who travel to Romania to face a Steaua Bucharest side that’ve never beaten an English team in the Champions League.

City have only ever faced one Romanian side, that was FC Timişoara back in 2010, who they beat 3-0 on aggregate, and Guardiola will be keen to return to Manchester with a comfortable win under his belt in his first Champions League game as Man City boss.

Borussia Monchengladbach to beat Young Boys @ 11/10

This will be the second time these two sides have met in a month, although the stakes are significantly higher than they were in the pair’s recent friendly.

That game saw plenty of goals, finishing 3-3, and Eden Hazard’s younger brother Thorgan bagged a brace in that game for Monchengladbach.

The German outfit should be able to see off last season’s Super League runners-up, and if they can take a lead back to Borussia-Park, they’ll certainly be a hard nut to crack, having not lost a competitive fixture at home since January.

Celtic to beat Hapoel Be’er-Sheva @ 3/5

Celtic’s hectic summer continues with a home tie against Ligat Ha’al champions Hapoel Be’er-Sheva.

The Israeli outfit scraped through the their third round qualifier with a 1-0 aggregate victory over Olympiacos, while Celtic continue in their quest to put an end to their two-year wait for a place in the group stages.

Saturday’s friendly with Inter Milan allowed Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers to rest his key players, who’d already played 13 games since the close of last season.

His squad should therefore be fully prepared to take the game to Hapoel, and fans will expect nothing less than a home win.

Legia Warsaw to beat Dundalk @ 20/21

Dundalk are the second-biggest priced home side in this week’s round of Champions League fixtures, at 3/1, which says a lot about their opposition – who won their league last year.

Keep an eye out for Nemanja Nikolics, who scored a staggering 28 times in 37 league appearances last campaign – he’ll be looking to grab a couple of vital away goals to take back to Poland with him.

Legia will be a tough team to break down, having conceded just once in their previous four qualifying fixtures, and adventurous punters might also fancy the 21/10 on the Polish outfit to win to nil.

Villarreal to beat Monaco @ 20/21

Perhaps the standout fixture of the round, Villarreal play hosts to a Monaco side that overturned a 2-1 deficit in their third round qualifier against Fenerbahce.

However, Villarreal have lost just once on home soil in Europe since December 2011, and new Yellow Submarine boss Fran Escriba. will be confident his side can keep up that fine form against a Monaco side who have only won once in nine attempts in Spain.
