Is long-time favourite Hughie destined for Big Brother glory?

Published:

The six remaining housemates woke up this morning knowing they’d never spend another night in their Big Brother beds, as tonight we will find out who has been crowned King or Queen of the house.

And while Andy and Jason are both priced up at 11/4 to win the show, it’s Hughie who remains odds-on favourite for the £80,000 prize fund.

Time and time again BB continues to shock both viewers and housemates, and last night was no different as Alex and Sam were thrown out in the most brutal way imaginable as housemates were participating in what they thought was an enjoyable circus-themed task.

And while the remaining housemates sat in shock – some even in tears – at what they’d witnessed, it appeared their emotions took another turn.

Just four minutes had passed since they the pair were evicted, Big Brother confirmed the remaining contestants had made the final– causing Hughie, Jason, Andy, Jackson, Evelyn and Jayne to scream the house down in excitement and celebration.

It’s what Alex and Sam would have wanted.

It’s likely that this series will see a male win for the first time in three years, with the last two remaining females Jayne (33/1) and Evelyn (80/1) both massive outsiders to be crowned victorious.

That means the boys will have to fight it out for the title of this year’s winner and while Hughie, Andy and Jason lead the market, Jackson is priced up at 25s to outlast his friends.

Still, he won’t mind. Reaching the final eight was the greatest achievement of his life.

His words.

One thing’s for sure following this summer’s antics – we can’t wait for the celebrities to enter the house.

All Odds and Markets are correct as of the date of publishing.
