Germany have got Euro 2016 sewn-up, according to voters

There are only four teams left standing at Euro 2016 but according to the results of our latest poll there’s one bunch in particular who can already start popping the champagne corks.

Joachim Low’s Germany are said outfit with 41 per cent of you voting for them as your idea of this year’s Euro champions.

The three-time tournament winners have been at their efficient best so far this summer and their penalty shoot-out victory over dark horses Italy has only further served to enhance their claims.

They’ll have to get past France first though. The two countries meet in this Thursday’s second semi-final with 21 per cent of our Twitter voters throwing their weight behind the hosts’ bid to rule the roost.

However, Les Bleus weren’t next on the list. Nope, that accolade goes to Chris Coleman’s Wales with a sizeable 33 per cent backing the Dragons to upset the odds and go on to lift the trophy.

The Welsh are set to meet Ronaldo and co. on Wednesday night and it’s clear to see who you fancy between themselves and Portugal.

The Selecao collected a measly six per cent of the vote, which is perhaps hardly surprising given their laboured route to the last-four.

Meanwhile, as far as the betting is concerned the bookies agree with the people with Germany 9/5 favourites and France next best at 15/8.

Portugal are 7/2 shots with Wales the 15/2 outsiders.

Given what we’ve seen so far, the latter have got to be worth a couple of quid?
