Five stars of Euro 2016 Arsenal should look to sign this summer

The Euros are finally over and scouting teams up and down the country tasked with compiling a list of potential buys will have handed in their notes ready for assessment to managers and coaches alike.
Today we’re taking a look at five players who’ve stood out over the last month that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger should be approaching in the build up to the new season.
Leonardo Bonucci – Italy
Should any move materialise it would certainly be considered a coup for Arsenal. The cool-headed centre half has spent the last six seasons at Juventus but has recently been linked with a number of English clubs. With Arsenal relying heavily on Laurent Koscielny, could Bonucci be the man to take some weight off the Frenchman’s shoulders?
Ashley Williams – Wales
Perhaps a more realistic option, 31-year old Williams has proven on several occasions this summer he can mix it with the big boys. The Welsh captain offers Premier League experience and his age may lower his value. Having spent the last eight seasons at Swansea, a move away from the Liberty Stadium could be Williams’ best chance of securing domestic silverware.
William Carvalho – Portugal
Wenger is in desperate need of midfield reinforcements following the departures of Tomas Rosicky, Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini. Though the Gunners do boast a wealth of quality in midfield already, the 24-year old Euro 2016 winner and defensive-minded midfielder would bring something different.
Ivan Perisic – Croatia
One of Croatia’s standout players of Euro 2016, the rapid forward would bring a new hairstyle to the Emirates if nothing else. Perisic delivered seven goals and six assists last season, and given Inter Milan’s current financial state, the 27-year old may come cheap, should he make himself available.
Arkadiusz Milik – Poland
Proving that there’s more to Poland’s attack than a certain Robert Lewandowski, Milik has been on several radars long before Euro 2016 – his 21 goals contributing to Ajax’s second-place finish in last year’s Eredivisie. However, Wenger will face stiff competition from other Premier League clubs, with Ronald Koeman’s Everton said to be keen on the 22-year old striker.
