Wales’ star duo 20/1 to both net against England

Wales are top of Group B at Euro 2016, and their fans will be on top of the world if the Dragons’ wing wizards are on song again in the Home Nations clash against England.

Gareth Bale and Hal Robson-Kanu netted the goals in Wales’ 2-1 victory over Slovakia on Saturday evening, and the pair are 20/1 to both finish on the scoresheet against the Three Lions in Lens.

Bale is 6/1 to score five or more goals in France this summer, but more ambitious backers could be tempted to put their weight behind a sensational accolade for his goalscoring partner.

That’s because Robson-Kanu has seen his odds of finishing as tournament top scorer tumble from 250/1 to 80/1, which is sure to please one ambitious punter who plonked £50 on the 27-year-old winning the Golden Boot before the Euros kicked-off.

The talented winger left boyhood club Reading following the 2015-16 season, and an impressive display against England could see him bag a move to a Premier League club this summer, with 7/2 that he signs for any top-flight outfit.

However, the focus of Chris Coleman’s squad will be fixed firmly on defeating England, and Wales fans can back them to do so in sensational style, with 33s for them to pile more last-gasp misery on Roy Hodgson’s young side with an injury-time winner.

Wales fans saw their national flag displayed on the  Eiffel Tower following the Slovakia game, thanks to a huge flurry of Twitter activity from Dragons’ fans, and it’s 2/1 that the Red Dragon is proudly shown on the iconic Paris landmark come Thursday night.

A Ladbrokes spokesperson said: “Wales fans will be in for an unforgettable night if their star attackers are on song again, and the Eiffel Tower could light up in Welsh colours to celebrate a famous triumph.”
