Stop what you are doing on Epsom’s Derby day and back Postponed

The Derby is clearly the feature event from the Saturday card at Epsom, but there are four other races that will also be shown on Channel 4 from the Surrey course.

Below are three eye-catching bets from those encounters to make the televised card and remember it’s Money Back if 2^nd or 3^rd to the SP Favourite on all Channel 4 races!*

Nap – Postponed – 15:10 Epsom

The Queen Elizabeth II Coronation Cup is being billed as Postponed taking on the fillies, with his three biggest challengers being of the fairer sex.

However, no filly has won this since 1991, which is a big negative against last year’s Breeders’ Cup Turf winner Found, Derby winner Golden Horn’s unexpected York conqueror Arabian Queen and Simple Verse, who has previous for upsetting the colts when landing the 2015 St Leger.

Postponed has won on his last four starts, including a pair of easy Meydan successes. The most recent was in the Group 1 Sheema Classic.

Cirrus Des Aigles and St Nicholas Abbey have previously completed the Sheema Classic/Coronation Cup double, with Postponed holding a fine record of five wins in six starts over this 1m4f trip.

NB – Cloth Of Stars – 16:30 Epsom

This year’s Epsom Derby is considered to be one of the most competitive in recent years, with the fact that there is no clear favourite testament to this.

Hovering just below the market leaders is Cloth Of Stars, who is bidding to give the famous blue silks of the esteemed Godolphin training unit a first win in the Classic.

Lively Longshot – Kimberella – 15:45 Epsom

A draw towards the far side of the track has been advantageous in this 5f “Dash” in recent years and Kimberella has a plum draw in stall 19 of 20 this year.

The fact that Caspian Prince will break from stall 17 is an additional boost to his chances, given the blistering early pace he is likely to set. This will give Kimberella a perfect tow into the race.

Dandy Nicholls’ six-year-old retains the same mark here from which he has run solidly from twice in the last month. Having had every chance when fourth in a handicap at Thirsk, he was beaten by a neck in the Spring Sprint at York last time.

Kimberella doesn’t win often and a victory here would represent a career best, but he is certainly in form and running well.
