Sandow and Warrington out to reclaim top spot against Hull FC

Super League’s top spot is up for grabs tonight as league leaders Hull FC travel to second-placed Warrington Wolves.
A remarkable run of form has seen Lee Radford’s Hull side reach the summit of the Super League ladder on 26 points, just two points clear of the three-strong chasing pack of Warrington, Catalans and Wigan.
Hull haven’t lost since mid-April, and have recorded six wins on the bounce to make top spot their own.
But tonight’s trip to the Halliwell Jones Stadium is another huge test of their mettle against Warrington, who have led the table for large parts of the season.
The Airlie Birds ended Warrington’s unbeaten start to the season when they met on Humberside earlier in the season, but the Wolves have been impressive in their last two performances and are favourites at 8/15 to win tonight, while Hull are 13/8.
Unsurprisingly, Warrington’s upturn in form has coincided with Chris Sandow’s return two weeks ago, and his half-back partnership with fellow Australian Kurt Gidley is proving one of the most deadly in the division.
Sandow scores as well as creates – with nine tries in 11 appearances this season – and is 15/8 to cross the line at anytime tonight.
Amongst the Wolves line up are former Hull FC men Tom Lineham and Joe Westerman. Lineham crossed twice against his former employers earlier in the season and is 8/1 to open the scoring tonight, or can be backed at 10/3 to bag a brace again.
Hull have been imperious in recent weeks, with an away win at Wigan showing many that they are a force to be reckoned with in 2016. However, Warrington are slight favourites to finish top of Super League after 23 games and have plenty of firepower to recapture first place tonight, and are 15/8 to cover a -12 point handicap.
