Man City legend could be joining Klopp’s Liverpool revolution

With incoming Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola reportedly keen on snapping up Barcelona stopper Marc-Andre ter Stegen, the door could be open for Joe Hart to make a shock exit from the Etihad, with Liverpool the most likely destination.

Jurgen Klopp is believed to be an admirer of the England international, and following another inconsistent season from Simon Mignolet, the Reds boss is 5/1 to make Hart his new number one this summer.

The Shrewsbury-born keeper has had another excellent season for City, playing a crucial role in the club’s run to the Champions League semi-finals, and there is no shortage of interested parties if the Citizens are willing to part with Hart.

Chelsea are 8/1 to bring Hart in to replace allegedly unsettled Thibaut Courtois, with Arsenal (12/1) and Everton (16/1) both considering a move for a new man between the sticks.

A move to the continent could also be on the cards for the highly-rated 29-year-old. Hart is 10/1 to join Champions League finalists Atletico Madrid – who he could face in Milan later this month – while PSG are 10/1 to swoop for the man who helped knock them out of the tournament this season.

The bookies have effectively written off a controversial move to Old Trafford, with Manchester 33/1, while only the most enthusiastic Shrewsbury fans are likely to back the Premier League winning keeper to return home at 66/1.

Hart’s current employers are next in action on Sunday, as they welcome Arsenal to the north-west. City are 13/10 to boost their top-four hopes with a win, while the Gunners are 19/10 for a first away win since March.
