ICYMI: Barrie McKay strike named Ladbrokes Championship GOTS

A stunning strike by Rangers star Barrie McKay has been named the 2015-16 Ladbrokes Championship Goal of the Season following a Twitter poll.

The 21-year-old midfield talent’s effort against Hibernian scooped 57 per cent of the vote to beat off competition from teammate James Tavernier and Hibees pair Jason Cummings and Martin Boyle.

Having conducted polls throughout the day to find our shortlist it was the quartet above who shone through.

McKay fared well for the duration of polling and in the end his goal was a decisive winner.
