How the world responded to Leicester’s Premier League win

We may as well face up and admit it, the Premier League is the centre of the universe and Leicester are its Kings, and the Foxes were celebrated in every corner of the globe following their amazing title win.
Tottenham’s second-half implosion at Chelsea handed Claudio Ranieri’s charges arguably sport’s biggest underdog success, and news outlets all over the planet wanted a piece of the fairytale.
At 5000/1, Leicester produced the biggest-odds winners in the history of betting.
It was as likely as aliens being found in the UK, and only twice as likely as Prime Minister David Cameron becoming manager of Aston Villa – or should that be West Ham?
Plaudits have deservedly come Leicester’s way, and they’ve even made history in Italy…
Italy
Fabled publication Gazetta dello Sport handed Leicester a unique piece of history following their title success, led of course by Ranieri the Roman.
The Foxes have become the first non-Italian team to feature on the front page of the renowned paper.
