Leicester City are Premier League champions and the Internet has gone into meltdown. Sure, we had a pretty good idea what was coming at some point but the confirmation that Claudio Ranieri’s side have clinched the title has prompted some pretty special scenes.

Tottenham’s 2-2 draw at Chelsea was the pre-cursor for some pretty wild celebrations in the East Midlands, as well as inside Stamford Bridge.

Yes, Jamie Vardy’s having a non-stop party, Leicester fans are going on a European tour and the Premier League has anointed its most unlikely winners.

Anyway, without much further ado, here’s how Twitter reacted to Leicester’s maiden top-flight triumph…

Let’s start with THAT clip from Foxes defender Christian Fuchs, shall we?

Before the final whistle blew, Chelsea fans made no bones about which other team in blue they had a soft spot for.

Naturally, that didn’t go down with supporters of the opposition. In fact, Spurs fans were perhaps right to feel that the whole world was against them.

Ex-Tottenham defender Chris Perry was also suitably unimpressed.

Just to rub it in, here’s a little stat on Eden Hazard’s importance to title-winning teams.

Moving on, this is Leicester’s moment!

The Foxes’ title triumph has cost us a pretty penny but we don’t mind.

Harry Kane had sent this message to Spurs’ title rivals.

And Jamie Vardy replied…

Before we sign-off, we’ll let Match of the Day presenter and Mr. Leicester Gary Lineker have the last word.

Remember, he has to do MOTD in his pants now.
