WATCH: Dramatic weekend at both ends of Ladbrokes Premiership

Published:

Just five points separated Celtic and Aberdeen at the top before this weekend’s fixtures, and with a cluster of teams also trying to climb away from the relegation battle – not to mention the impending split – this was a huge weekend of fixtures in the Ladbrokes Premiership.

The action we saw duly delivered dramatic comebacks, composed wins and huge results across the board.

Celtic’s goal machine Leigh Griffiths nudged closer to the 30-goal mark in the Ladbrokes Premiership, taking his tally to 28 with both goals in the Hoops’ crucial 2-1 triumph against Motherwell at Fir Park.

The Bhoys’ title hopes were boosted by Hearts, who came from behind to beat Aberdeen 2-1 at Tynecastle, while Ross County will be joining both of those sides in the top six, with a 1-0 defeat of Partick Thistle confirming the Staggies’ post-split place in the top half.

With the gap to the second-placed Dons now eight points with five games remaining, Celtic look certain to wrap up this year’s Premiership title. And for those who fancy the Parkhead club to make it six on the bounce next year, we’re offering 1/4 on another Celtic title.
