Twitter reacts to thrilling Leicester City draw with West Ham

When Jamie Vardy put Leicester City ahead after 18 minutes it looked like it was going to be business as usual for the league leaders against West Ham.

However, he was sent off early in the second half and that’s when the game really started to heat up.

Referee Jon Moss awarded the Hammers a controversial penalty in the 84th minute, which Andy Carroll dispatched, before Aaron Cresswell put the visitors in front with only four minutes of normal time remaining.

However, that’s not where the twists stopped as Leonardo Ulloa smashed home from the spot, when Moss once again awarded a debatable penalty.

Here’s how Twitter reacted to the enthralling encounter.

Jamie Vardy’s involvement in the game was also much discussed, with his second yellow card for diving serving as a confusing and hotly debated moment in the match.

However, the man who garnered the most attention was Moss, who didn’t end up in the good books of either set of fans…or indeed neutrals.

The result means Tottenham Hotspur are now eight points behind Leicester, who are now priced at 3/10 to win the league, with a game in hand, a trip to Stoke City on Monday evening.

Spurs haven’t won their last three meetings against the Potters, but that hasn’t stopped people from getting excited over the gap potentially closing.
