Andy Carroll was the star of the show, scoring all of his West Ham’s goal to bag himself a hat trick.
That brings his tally for the season to seven and onlookers were impressed by what they saw from the 27-year-old forward.
Only Arsenal can make a Geordie Biker look like Zlatan ?

The last thing Roy needs is Big Andy going on a run. Unbelievable scenes. #WHUvAFC

It’s seems @Arsenal don’t like playing against Geordies on the 9th April! #hattrick #WHUvAFC

Conversely, Gabriel had a difficult day for the Gunners, with Carroll getting the better of him for his third goal and this didn’t go unnoticed on social media.
Also Gabriel’s performance today was one of the worst individual performances I’ve seen!

Swear to god Gabriel is dumber than Paris hilton

The result means Arsenal can now only achieve a maximum of 77 points and this doesn’t look like it will be enough to mount a realistic title challenge.
Manchester United picked up 75 points when they won the league in 1996/97, but, with Leicester already on 69, it looks unlikely that the Gunners will be able to finish top of the Premier League for the first time since 2004.
Indeed, many Arsenal fans on Twitter were resigned to the fact that their wait is going to carry on.
Fact: #Arsenal season has been over since the day we lost against United under 18s. Next season ?? #WHUvAFC pic.twitter.com/gGUU6x3NEl

The great Arsenal managers would never have gone 12 years without winning the league and 20 without winning a European trophy.

Inevitably, this led to fans of the north Londoners once again calling for Wenger’s resignation.
If I were Wenger I’d make another substitution: probably take off Wenger and bring on someone else. #WHUvAFC

Both Wenger and Cameron face out campaigns. Both should go but neither will
