POLL: Yaya is off to China after Pep arrives at Man City

His agent has all but confirmed what has been speculated for months, and it seems almost certain that Yaya Toure won’t be a Manchester City player under Pep Guardiola next season. But where will he go?

The midfielder has been at the very heart of all City’s success in recent years, but ever since the news that Guardiola will be taking charge at the Etihad this summer, speculation has been rife over Toure’s future.

We put it to our Twitter following today to determine where Yaya will be off to, and it seems the majority – 52 per cent – say the Chinese Super League is the most likely destination.

Some 25 per cent say Yaya will be going across the pond to try out MLS in America, while just 15 per cent see Toure staying in the Premier League.

That left just eight per cent of you fancying a return to Spain for the former Barcelona man.

The Ivory Coast star can remind Pep what he might be missing tomorrow night when City head to Paris for their first ever Champions League quarter-final clash.

Toure is 12/1 to net first versus Paris Saint-Germain, and is 9/2 to bag anytime at the Parc des Princes.
